We are looking for a Transport Administrator to join our night shift team to play a vital role in maintaining the flow of vehicles on-site using our transport management system.Key responsibilities include: Book vehicles in and out of the site using the transport management system Working to booking targets Ensuring there is sufficient vehicle availability from 3rd party hauliers to cover planned loads, checking continually against planned production, and advising warehouse/logistics/hauliers of any issues. Supporting the loading of tankers on site for offsite production Processing Tesco customer orders daily, and liaise with the logistics team to ensure all orders can be fulfilled Updating and issuing reports RequirementsYou must have experience in a fast paced administrative role within a transport or logistics environment. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications is essential as well as experience with transport management systems.This role will be working nightshifts from 6.15 pm to 6.30 am with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. The salary is £29,427.00 per annum which includes a 25% shift allowance, plus additional benefits as detailed.Please note that due to our location and public transport services available, you must be able to drive and have access to a car.Benefits
