Set in beautiful surroundings, this purpose-built nursery requires a Nursery Nurse to join their friendly team. They are close to bus routes, a couple of miles from the train station and have free parking onsite. There is a local supermarket and a coffee house which are a short walk away, and local parkland where you can take a stroll during your lunch.You will be responsible for creating an environment in which children’s individual needs are met and for supporting the team in ensuring that high quality childcare is provided to all. There is a car park available for the team to use.Responsibilities:Work in partnership with parent and carers, providing for all children’s individual needs; observing, planning and evaluating development activities; keeping accurate records and maintaining regular contact and communication with parentsSupport the Room Leader to ensure that all nursery initiatives are fully embedded into the room, following and implementing the EYFS at all timesRespond to parent queries or requests in a polite and professional manner, seeking help or signposting parents to the correct person within the nursery as appropriateSupport with new staff induction into the room, to ensure consistency of careKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience of working in a day nurseryRelevant Early Years qualification – Level 3Understanding and working knowledge of the EYFSGood understanding of health and safety requirements, safeguarding and paediatric first aidValid DBS checkWe recognise the upheaval that finding a new role can cause you.
