Job DescriptionPurposeFunctional and daily management of a small team of passive safety test engineers.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of passive safety test engineers engaged in full scale crash, engineering systems and sled testingSafe on time delivery of tests and associated deliverables in a right first time environmentThe production of budgetary proposal with costing and engineering solutionsEngineering function delivered within budgetry expectationLiaise with customers and witnessing authorities to deliver homologation testingTest planning and resource allocationMaintain internal quality standards and external accreditations (includes ISO 17025)Identify capital expenditure needs and draft supporting business casesIdentify future training needs and maintain training recordsSupport commercial and business development activities associated with the passive safety functionRepresent UTAC in passive safety working groupsProject and programme managementMaintain and cultivate relationships with OEM passive safety customersMonitor future legalisation and future passive safety trends and derive investment plans
