As part of Kooth winning its first US contracts with the State of Pennsylvania and $188m in California coupled with the businesses ongoing growth trajectory. Kooth are seeking to hire a Finance Manager to support on the Company’s group financial reporting obligations (to include taxation and transfer pricing), financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and management reporting. The Finance Manager is a direct report to the Group Controller, and as befits the role, a high-profile member of the finance team in the eyes of the broader organisation. Role ObjectiveThe objective of this role is to support the business in achieving its growth and profitability targets by providing a strategic financial mindset. This is a senior role within the finance department where relationships are to be developed across the wider Kooth business. Key Responsibilities:Business partnering and financial analysis/insights Conduct financial analysis to support the sfinancial planning and analysis team as well as the wider business. Working with non finance-executives across all areas of the business in a commercially focused role. Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting Responsibility and oversight for the continual development of financial processes, systems, reporting, and controls including the core accounting systems Oversee and manage the group’s financial reporting activities, including delivery of the half-year and full-year consolidated financial statements under IFRS and other standards relevant to a London listed company Prepare monthly finance slides for inclusion in the Board Pack. Lead on specific accounting areas i.e. capitalised development costs and taxation Play a key role in strategic group projects such as corporate structuring, treasury, fund raising, investment appraisals, finance transformation and any future M&A activity Act as the lead on significant finance work streams such as capitalised development costs and taxation. Deal with requests from auditors, tax advisors, banks, other teamsDevelop strong working relationships our external auditors, tax advisors and bankersManage and support junior team membersCoach and mentor junior finance team membersReview and approve the work of junior finance team membersRequirementsTechnical Skills Demonstrable technical expertise in IFRS reporting Expert in the use google sheets and slides, reporting platforms as well as Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of Salesforce is desirable In depth experience in reviewing and approving large sets of complex financial analysis In depth experience of working for or with a listed business and associated reporting requirements Power Skills Highly driven, motivated and responsible for specific work streams within the finance team Ability to foster relationships across departments and jurisdictions Strong management and people skills to lead, mentor, motivate junior team members Ability to work independently whilst still proposing useful analysis/improvements Qualifications Graduate with excellent academic results including Maths A level or equivalent Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Minimum 3 years PQE BenefitsAre you looking for a fulfilling career with attractive perks and a supportive work environment?
