The Role: Plasterer Location: Ipswich Job Type: Full-time temp to perm Salary: £160 a day + Mileage (Needs own Van & tools)Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to properties across the East is looking for an experienced Plasterer / wet trades multi to work on void properties in the Ipswich area. The candidate will ideally be a skilled and experienced plasterer who also holds skills in other wet trades such as floor screeding, ceramic tiling etc. The successful individual will hold a minimum level 2 NVQ or be time-served as a plasterer whilst also being experienced in completing various other maintenance tasks. As a skilled plasterer with relevant experience you will be required to undertake a variety of allocated works across the area. Duties and ResponsibilitiesManagement of jobs within void properties. Ensuring all assigned tasks are carried out to a safe and efficient standard.Making decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.Ensuring compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance.Knowledge and Experience within a maintenance environment preferred.Plasterer / Multi Trade experience and excellent planning and organisational skills.Hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm. 30 minutes lunch. Certificates and QualificationsLevel 2 Trade City & Guilds/ NVQ (Preferred)Asbestos Awareness Training.
