Scrum Master - Insurance - Contract - Outside IR35 - Hybrid/London Leading company in the London Market Insurance, with a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement is seeking a Scrum Master with insurance experience/knowledge to contribute to their companywide transformation. You will work closely with the business and technical teams to facilitate Scrum and other meetings, remove impediments, and improve teams' flow. Additionally, you will coordinate and facilitate Sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives, while maintaining DevOps and backlog and will be able to easily prioritize tasks by considering their technical complexity. We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with good knowledge around the insurance industry and all lines of business, coming from a technical background or delivered IT/Data related projects, with previous experience working on Azure DevOps. Main Responsibilities: Facilitate Scrum and other meetings, remove impediments and improve teams' flow, maintain DevOps and backlog Enable team to deliver on committed work by identifying, and mentoring through root causes of rollover, missed commitments, excessive unplanned work Track deliverables and report on KPIs and other metrics Raise risks, issues, blockers in line with governance Monitor and report sprint velocity and actively look to improve it Guide teams and help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall goals are being met Experience Required: Experienced and certified Scrum Master from the insurance industry Previous professional experience working with technical/software development teams Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies Experience in using software such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, PowerBI Good understanding and experience of end-to-end project delivery Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills For more info: Nadya Nyagolova - nadya@pioneer-search.com /+44 20 3828 6967
