A rota position has opened up with one of our best London families! Our super, kind, warm international family is looking for an experienced, responsible and fun completely fluent German or French speaking nanny to look after their 2 very young children. In north Notting Hill / North Kensington. The rota nanny who is leaving has been extremely happy with them and say they are one of the best families she has ever worked for.The position is 2 weeks on/ off. When in London (most of the time) the hours are 7am til 7pm and the nanny lives out, so you must live within a reasonable commute of their home in North Kensington. When travelling the hours are 24/14. An experienced rota nanny is required.They prefer nanny to live out and live nearby to Ladbroke Grove tube station, but they can also offer live in accommodation to a good nanny. Start date is any time between now and June (the sooner the better, but looking for the right long term match). The family is flexible on salary for the right nanny (£60-£75k). Rota 2wks on/ 2wks off. This is a live out rota position, where you will work a 12 hour day for 14 days on (then 14 days off) in London. However, the salary covers 24/14, so on occasion when the family is away, or the parents are away for an evening you would be expected to stay over and be available for the full 24 hrs. Each shift of 14 days, 12 hours per day, is demanding, therefore they need a nanny who lives close-by for the the commute.Their children are G12m and B 3y in July. The little boy goes to nursery each morning, and will be at school full time in September. Looking for a professional nanny with lots of energy, initiative and warmth. Someone who will arrange plenty of fun activities and excursions, including a social life for both children with playdates. Both parents work, mum works partly from home, but will be more office based as time progresses. She will want to be able to see the children at lunch time or at a tea break during the day, so nanny should be comfortable with this. She will be careful that this does not interrupt nanny’s plans.This young family enjoy a positive, friendly and open environment at home. Mum explains that she likes good communication and for everyone to know what they are doing. Things work well for them and for the children when the structure and routine is followed. The parents believe this gives security to the children and makes for happier children (and everyone else in the home!).The family keep a very clean and tidy house and it is important to the family that the nanny also likes it this way.They are looking for a nanny who will be a long term part of their household/ family. They look after their staff and believe in give and take and giving each other flexibility when required, eg. If the nanny wants to take extra holiday.The family travel overseas during holidays, to stay with their family’s homes abroad. They spend summer at the beach house in New York (The Hamptons) and they spend time in France and Germany too. When they are abroad the rota schedule might be 3w on/off. They don't expect their rota nanny to stay with them longer than that at anytime. They will fly you home and the other nanny will be flown out to them.The family will be moving into a large newly renovated house in September this year, with more space and more bedrooms. They will then employ a private chef. They currenly also employ a full time housekeeper.Nanny should be experienced enough to be comfortable with shared care, sole care and proxy-parenting.
