We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Urgent Treatment Experienced Medical Receptionists across London It is the duty of the Receptionist, as part if the Operations Team, to assist in the safe, and to project a running of the Health Centre in general, and the reception area in particular, and to project a positive and friendly image to our patients and other professionals who may contact us either in person or via telephone. The receptionist will work with GP's, nursing staff and other colleagues to ensure appointments, bookings and visits are handled consistently and efficiently. In addition to undertaking the duties as outlined above, the job holder will be expected to fully adhere to the following rules and regulations that may from time to time be in force and ensure full understanding of those rules and regulation relevant to the role. In addition at all times the job holder must act in accordance with the Company's policies and regulations. Position: Medical ReceptionistLocation: Warford WD18Salary: PAYE HourlyJob Type: AgencyWorking Hours: Long Days/Nights and 8am-8pm/8pm-8am Responsibilities:Open the premises and restore the telephone serviceSignpost patients as per Health Centre protocolsAlongside direct bookings via NHS111 make appointments for GPs and other clinicians via the clinical system as requiredRecord requests for home visits when requiredRe-direct urgent calls to the duty DoctorIssue repeat prescriptionsLiaise with the Team Leader on duty to ensure all appointment lists are updated daily and extract medical records as appropriateFile patient medical records, results and lettersAssisting patients with registrations and preparing medial folders for new patientsLiaise with patients, hospitals and chemists as requested by GPs and NursesEnsure the waiting and reception areas are kept tidyEnsure effective communications exists between the sites and staff, regularly updating the Team Leader of any issuesDealing with all telephone queries/requests from patients, and acting as liaison with the Doctor as necessaryGreeting patients at reception, noting their arrival timeObserve the waiting room, in the event a patients condition deteriorates refer to the Reception Guide and take appropriate actionSupporting and assisting the Doctors during surgery times as requiredLiaising with secondary care providers and arranging transport as necessaryDealing with all incoming and outgoing patient notesFilling of patient information electronically and paper based recordsMaintenance of patients' medical recordsDaily preparation of consulting and treatment rooms, ensuring all clinical areas are clean and safe for use at all timesMaintaining and encouraging adequate security measures, ensuring all rooms are locked when not in useLiaison with attached staff, including Health Visitors, District Nurses, Midwives, Counsellors etc as requiredSupporting and encouraging other member of the Health Centre teamMaintaining the safety of staff, patients and visitors to the Health CentreAny other duties as requested by the Team LeaderRequirements:6+ Months relevant experience in UTCDBS on the Update ServiceMandatory Compliance Documents 2 Contactable referencesBenefits:Hours to match your scheduleVariety in work settingsCompetitive Pay If you are dedicated, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent receptionist work , we invite you to apply for this rewarding role by submitting your resume.
