Protocol Education are currently looking to employ enthusiastic and confident individuals to work as Cover Supervisors within Secondary Schools in the Sheffield area. As a Cover Supervisor you will be tasked with helping the school with it's day to day classroom cover needs when the Teacher is unavailable. `The role will give you chance to gain classroom experience and work with various ages, as well as develop teaching experiences in a variety of different subjects. Your role includes being responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students are on task and engaged and being able to support pupils as they work through the lesson and understand how to help them to complete tasks, where needed.About you: Experience working with Secondary age children previouslyAble to manage behaviour effectively Have good time management/organisational skills and take well to directionStrong communication skillsSound knowledge of Safeguarding This role could suit graduates aspiring to become a teacher or teachers looking to remain in the classroom without the pressure of planning and assessment. This role would be appropriate for people looking for full-time or part-time employment, minimum of 3 days per week (days flexible.)
