We are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly successful client in Thame, who are recruiting for a Trainer to join their busy team.If you are a highly motivated individual and have a track record of delivering both theoretical and practical training, this is an opportunity that provides a new and exciting challenge within a dynamic and growing area of the construction industry.Role: TrainerSalary: £40,000Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pmLocation: ThameBenefits for a Trainer: 24 days holiday including bank holidays.Company Pensions SchemePrivate Medical InsuranceOn site parking Responsibilities of the Trainer: Delivering Theoretical and Practical training to a diverse cross section of construction industry personnel.Supervise and instruct on the theoretical and practical aspects of the safe operation of plant and equipment, conducting examinations and assessments, design lesson plans and courses that fully engage participants.Administrative tasks relating to the Training Centre, which will include booking, processing, and recording all training and testing.Assist in some on-site duties, including provision of training and operating of plant supplied by the organisation. Requirements of the Trainer: Hold a recognised trainer / assessor qualificationExperience of delivering both practical and classroom-based training, ideally in the operation of cranes or other construction plant equipment and/or controlling lifting operations in the role of slinger signaller, although experience in any similar instructional role will be consideredHold a CPCS Tester card (highly desirable)Basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislationA full driving licenceExcellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, as well as being flexible and having an organised approach to tasksAbility to work on own initiativePrevious experience of operating cranes or other construction machinery would be beneficial.
