Music Teacher Responsibilities: Develop and design the Music curriculum of KS3, GCSE and A-Level, in adherence to national and local standards, ensuring it is engaging, age-appropriate, and caters to diverse learners.Deliver high-quality Music instruction, employing various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.Contribute to full lesson planning, prepping and marking of assessments to evaluate students' understanding and progress, offering timely and constructive feedback to support their learning.Identify and address diverse learning needs, providing additional support or enrichment opportunities.Collaborate with fellow Music teachers and faculty members to align teaching strategies, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary projects integrating Music with other subjects. Music Teacher Requirements: PGCE in Secondary Music with QTS or equivalent UK recognized teaching qualification.Essential Music or instrument teaching experience within the last 2 years.Ability to foster curiosity and interest in the subject.Strong command of the curriculum and effective behavior management skills.Commitment to child protection, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
