General Cover Teacher (part time, temporary)Portsmouth£23,400 - £41,333 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)May 2024 - ongoingThis mixed 11-16 secondary school are looking to appoint a passionate General Cover Teacher to deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and managing classroom behaviour on a ad hoc basis with the possibility of short/long term contracts in your subject specialism.Requirements:The desired General Cover Teacher will: Hold QTSHave recent experience teaching in a secondary schoolHave the ability to deliver engaging lessonsHave the ability to de-escalate challenging behaviours What we offer:As a General Cover Teacher, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
