Job Title: Temporary Bus Driver (Road Testing) Location: Ballymena Duration: Temporary, Full-time, Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Hourly Rate: £13.39 per hour Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Temporary Bus Driver for Road Testing to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct road tests on buses, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. As a Temporary Bus Driver, you will be responsible for operating buses in various road conditions, assessing their functionality, and reporting any issues or malfunctions. Responsibilities: Conduct road tests on buses to evaluate performance and safety. Operate buses according to designated routes and schedules. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies. Document and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions observed during testing. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned bus. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any identified issues promptly. Provide exceptional customer service to passengers during testing. Requirements: Proven experience as a bus driver or in a similar role. Excellent driving record with no traffic violations. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues. Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
