Senior Knowledge Lawyer – Top Tier – Corporate Our client is a leading UK law firm which providing high quality legal advice tailored to both businesses and individuals. They are now looking to strengthen their London Team with the appointment of a Knowledge Solicitor. The firm The firm has a strong reputation in a variety of sectors, particularly technology, retail, leisure and sport, with their lawyers recognised for their expertise across numerous areas, to include corporate & commercial law, real estate, litigation, employment IP/IT and private wealth. Clients include multi-national corporations, public companies, professional partnerships, banks and financial institutions as well as private individuals, owner managed businesses and start-ups. The department The Knowledge Team is responsible for helping the firm achieve strategic goals, maximise operational efficiency, drive innovation, facilitate change and create value from the firm’s knowledge assets. This position will involve working closely with the Corporate Team and the Knowledge Team to develop innovative ways in which to better serve clients and support fee earners. Sound legal knowledge of corporate law is essential, as is a solid understanding of and interest in knowledge management and marketing. The role will suit a confident and motivated individual who is committed to providing the best and most efficient service to both internal and external clients. Summary of role This is a non-fee earning role and we are looking to speak with associates of at least 7 PQE, although there is an element of flexibility with this requirement. You will be expected to identify opportunities to improve knowledge or information services within the corporate commercial space and assist the team as appropriate. Whilst experience of knowledge management is preferred, our client will also consider candidates who are looking to develop their career in this way. You should have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
