This specialist school is currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time, permanent basis (40 hours per week), operating during term time only. Situated in a welcoming and modern facility, the school provides support to approximately 80+ young people aged 11 years and above, many of whom have complex needs including Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and Autism. As such, they are seeking a supportive, nurturing, and resilient team member. Responsibilities will include assisting teaching staff in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum both on and off-site, working one-on-one with students as needed, and providing support within the classroom to small groups. The existing team is passionate and committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for the young people, with a strong focus on staff training and development.
