JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN 1:1 Location: South East England, Oxfordshire, FaringdonJob Type: Temporary, Full-TimePrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £20 - £30 Per hourJob Duties: Provide 1:1 support to a student with special educational needs (SEN)Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to the student's needsAssist with academic tasks and provide guidance in various subjectsSupport the student in developing social and communication skillsMaintain accurate records of the student's progress and challengesCollaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to the student's learning Required Qualifications: Experience working with students with SENUnderstanding of special education practises and strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Psychology, Special Education)Previous experience in a similar role preferredKnowledge of SEN legislation and best practisesAbility to build rapport with students and create a positive learning environment Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualificationTraining in behaviour management techniquesAdditional training in specific areas of SEN (e.g., autism, dyslexia) Working Conditions: This is a temporary position with the possibility of extensionFull-time hours, Monday to FridayWork will primarily take place within a school OR HOME setting All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
