Job DescriptionA multi-functional role assisting in many aspects such as talent acquisitions, employee relations, compensation, and benefits etc…The ER Assistant will provide a solid administrative foundation for the ER function, ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to and tasks are completed in detail and accurately. Providing cover on Reception during lunch breaks and when required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Employee Relations: Providing first line support to employees on ER matters - Responding to any queries or problemsEnsuing all files are maintained in a timely and accurate manner and always ready for an audit by UK ER Manger or any regulatory bodiesBenefit support and administrationSupporting the UK ER manager with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinaryWrite and issue letters to employees for any changesChecking and updating managers on reference progress and confirming start dates when file is completeEnsure all pre-employment checks are completed for new starters including right to workUpdating the HR database, assisting employees with password resets for holidays, timesheets checking for export to payroll Provide references for those requested to the relevant company Coordinate the Service Awards programAd hoc dutiesReceptionProvide cover for Reception during lunch hours and during absencesAnswering the switchboard and greeting customersMonitoring of the security cameras and barrierOrdering customer and training buffets as requiredLiaising with contractors and couriersEnsure all Reception duties are completed as requiredTalent AcquisitionLiaising with ER representatives and complying a list of all vacancies within the UK. Sourcing candidates via various means such as linkedin, job boards and smart recruitersIncreasing our social media presence to attract the best talent Increasing awareness of the Apprenticeship scheme and utilisation of the Apprenticeship LevyCoordinating the Onboarding process for all UK BranchesEnsuring PDC Functions for new hires are completed timelyGeneral Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.
