Job Title: Experienced School CaretakerLocation: WendoverPay: up to 26k Type; Full time-permanent Job description:Develop and support the ca retaking and cleaning team to ensure high standards. Duties/responsibilities :- Undertake the responsibility of key holder.- Ensure that all doors and windows are secured and all lights and heaters ares switched off and gates locked when required - Undertake regular checks such as the location and integrity of fire extinguishers,reporting to the Assistant Facilities ManagerTake care of the health and safety oif the campus such as Fire signageo Fire extinguisherso Fire blanketso Testing emergency lightingrecord all accidents and near-misses in accordance with Academy policyundertake basic maintenance tasks such as To build self-assembly furnitureo To carry out basic plumbingo To order and fit windows and window catches and glazingo To plaster walls* To routinely move and check off small deliveries and move larger deliveries e.g. furniture as required* To ensure that waste is sorted as necessary* To set up rooms for events and meetings are completed Follow any other duties when required and finish to deadline Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
