Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Location: Barking & DagenhamPay: £85 - £100 per dayContract: Temp to PermHours: 8:30am - 3:30pm We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic and supportive school in Barking & Dagenham.The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting children with additional needs, and will be able to help them achieve their full potential. The role will involve working closely with the SENCo and other support staff to ensure that children with additional needs receive the support they need to thrive in the classroom.The ideal candidate will be able to build positive relationships with children, parents and staff, and will be able to work collaboratively with others to achieve the best outcomes for the children they are supporting.Responsibilities Supporting children with additional needs in accessing the curriculum and making progressWorking closely with the SENCo and other support staff to ensure that children with additional needs receive the support they need to thrive in the classroomBuilding positive relationships with children, parents and staffDemonstrating patience, care and the ability to remain calm under pressureCommunicating effectively with others to achieve the best outcomes for the children Requirements Proven track record of supporting children with additional needsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with othersUnderstanding of the challenges faced by children with additional needsA commitment to improving outcomes for all children All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
