1:1 Support AssistantLocation – AccringtonHours – Monday to Friday 08:30 – 15:30Pay - £12.82 per hourYear Group – Year 2We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support a pupil that has recently been diagnosed with ASD. The pupil is currently on a full-time timetable and is based within a Year 2 class. I am working in partnership with the school to recruit an educator who can support, motivate, and nurture the pupil. The pupil mainly needs support with their social and emotional skills so a lot of encouragement will be needed within this position.Responsibilities Support and motivate the pupil during all aspects of the school dayEncourage the pupil to develop their social and emotional needs; e.g socialising with other pupils and working in a teamLiaise with the class teacher on the development of the pupil and the potential areas of developmentBuild a trustworthy relationship with the pupilSupport other pupils within the class – you may be required to support smaller groups with the 1:1 pupilSupport the class teacher with general classroom duties Essential Requirements Enhanced Child only DBS that is registered on the Update Service2 Professional Based References If you are interested in this position then please apply with your most up to date CV!All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
