SEN Teaching Assistant – PR2- Full Time- SEN Support Assistant.- ASD Experience needed.- Central Preston- Supporting in an SEN department.An amazing opportunity has arisen within a Secondary School in Central Preston to support children with Special Educational Needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role requires the successful candidate to support on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday.Roles and responsibilities:- Working under the direction of the Class Teacher and SENCO. - To liaise closely with the Class Teacher and any external professionals that provide support. - Supervising and providing support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.- To monitor the pupils progress and report any development milestones that have been reached against the pupil’s targets.- To support pupils to learn as independently as possible.- To support pupils to manage their emotions and behaviour. - To establish a good professional relationship with the children.- To attend and contribute to relevant team meetings and planning.
