Job Title: SEN English Teacher Location: South East England, Surrey, CaterhamJob Type: Contract, Full-TimePrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSecondary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £120 - £190 Per dayJob Duties: Plan, deliver, and assess English lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all studentsCollaborate with other teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to implement individualised education plansMonitor and track student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and relevant stakeholdersAdapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Specialist knowledge in teaching English to students with SENExperience working in a similar role within an educational setting Education: A relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or a related fieldExperience: Teaching experience, preferably with SEN studentsKnowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN strategies and interventionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of studentsStrong organisational and time management skills Working Conditions: Work primarily within a classroom settingRegular collaboration with colleagues and support staffPotential involvement in extracurricular activities or school events All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
