Exposure has an opportunity for a motivated, resourceful, organised and creative candidate to join our Fashion Internship Programme. The Programme consists of a paid, six-month contract role in which you will: gain on-the-job experience by working on some of Exposure’s most exciting accounts; learn to work as a team in a fast-paced, demanding and creative environment; get the opportunity to create your own PR plan and generate coverage; gain an understanding of the world of PR and fashion; and begin building a network of contacts that will help you forge a PR and fashion career. Requirements Support Exposure Fashion account teams on day-to-day account work Outreach to media to generate on and offline coverage Write press materials such as news releases Proactively develop news/feature/story media angles Track the online & social media conversation – identify news & feature opportunities Monitor media daily – including newspapers, magazines, broadcast, online & social media channels for client opportunities and to keep abreast of competitor news. Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage, including scanning and sending media coverage to clients as a priority Maintain media lists, establish and maintain forthcoming feature lists, keep team members informed of any relevant articles Participate in internal brainstorming sessions Support on events including press trips, photocalls, product launches & event logistics Work to internal and external deadlines and adhere to strict approval procedures Deliver written documents and communication with a keen attention to detail Ensure that all deadlines are respected and adhered to Administration across clients to ensure successful and optimum servicing of accounts Implement any other reasonable duties in line with the post which may be required Coordinate stock and track returns Lead media visits to showroom Develop an understanding of your clients’ business, the sector they operate in and understand who the core competitors are Undertake research for new business proposals & new business pitches Your internship with Exposure Fashion is designed to give you a great start in a career in fashion PR.
