We are currently collaborating with a client school in Beverley, urgently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact a student's educational journey.About the Role: Location: BeverleyCommencement: May 2024Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PMResponsibilities: Provide support to a pupil in lower key stages, focusing on meeting emotional needs and academic progress. Ideal Candidate: Patient and Caring: Put the child's best interests at heart, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment.Energetic and Adaptive: Ability to engage with and support the pupil's needs, including movement and active participation.Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN, facilitating academic progress, and managing challenging behaviors preferred.Background: Experience in similar roles within Primary Schools, nursery settings, or health and social care backgrounds. Opportunity for Growth: This role will be initially paid through Teaching Personnel until July 2024.The right candidate will have the option to transition to a permanent contract after the academic year.
