Do you have Vehicle Technician experience or a background as a mechanic and are you seeking a new job in Coventry? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a full-time Vehicle Fitter,/Mechanic and the role comes with a contract rate of £17.09 PAYE or £22.00 umbrella/Ltd per hour working a day shift. In your first few weeks in this Vehicle Fitter/Mechanic role, you can expect to: Work within part of a small team removing base vehicle equipment, under bonnet and chassis work of military of vehiclesWork within small cells fitting/integrating new parts/equipment to military vehiclesDrilling and lifting and the use of an overhead craneWork on standardising all reference vehicles in line with project milestones To apply for this Vehicle Fitter/Mechanic role, you will need: An affinity for and understanding of the design, engineering and manufacturing challenges of working with vehicles, ideally military vehiclesThe capability of reading and interpreting design drawings and adherence to manufacturing instructionsThe knowledge of how to carry out a basic vehicle service following all safety standards and maintain excellent situational safety awareness You'll receive an excellent contract per hour rate of £17.09 PAYE or £22.00 umbrella/Ltd per hour in return for your knowledge, expertise and flexibility.
