Teacher of Biology Location: York, North Yorkshire Start Date: September 2024 Salary: MPS/UPS; £30,000 - £46,525 per annumAre you a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of Science with expertise in Biology? Do you have a passion for inspiring the next generation? We are seeking a dynamic Biology Teacher to work at client Secondary Schools in York, starting in September 2024.Teacher of Biology Responsibilities: Deliver Biology lessons that cater to different learning styles in accordance with the AQA curriculum.Creating hands-on experiments and interactive activities to make learning come alive.Providing individualized support and guidance to students, helping them excel in their studies.Establish and enforce classroom rules, manage student behavior, and ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere for learning.Design assessments, quizzes, tests, and projects to evaluate students' understanding of Biology concepts. Teacher of Biology requirements: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status, with UK-based teaching experience.Hold a relevant Degree at 2:1 or higher.Have recent classroom teaching experience in teaching Biology, in-line with the AQA curriculum.A deep passion for Biology and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
