SEN Teaching assistant Location:HullSalary Scale: £84 to £97 a dayStart Date: ASAPAbout the Role: GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant school community in Hull. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support to students with a range of special educational needs.Responsibilities: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one support and assistance to students with special educational needs.Assisting students with their learning activities, both in the classroom and in one-on-one sessions.Providing emotional support and encouragement to students, fostering a positive learning environment.Collaborating with teachers and Special Educational Needs Coordinator to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians. The successful candidate will: Passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference in their lives.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of each individual student.Ideally, some prior experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs. However, candidates who are still in training or starting their career are also encouraged to apply.
