By joining their team, you will be part of a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages continuous learning and development.Key Responsibilities:- Translate user requirements and technical specifications into concept designs and fully engineered design solutions, working individually or as part of a small team of engineers and designers.- Plan and execute engineering and design activities.- Produce technical reports and specifications.- Generate design substantiation and scoping calculations.- Conduct site surveys and produce comprehensive survey reports.- Perform technical reviews and risk assessments.- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, adhering to relevant company procedures.The Ideal Candidate:- Experience in highly regulated environments, such as the nuclear, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil & gas or power generation is highly desirable.- Any hazardous area environment experience would be advantageous.- Familiarity with Remote Handling Systems and HAZOPs is advantageous.- Demonstrable expertise in one or more specific specialist areas relevant to the engineering discipline.- A proven track record of successful project delivery, including roles that involve influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel in the definition, implementation, and delivery of engineering work packages (role-dependent).- Possession of some level of security clearance is ideal.About Our Client:Since 1907, our client has been providing engineering design, project management, installation, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, and IT services across the United Kingdom.
