Staff Selection are currently working with a National Distribution company based in Bradford. Our client is looking to recruit a permanent Stock person. The aim of the role:To regularly update stock records, provide an effective administrative service and assist with warehouse duties within the storage warehouse function; to ensure the smooth process of orders, delivering good standards of customer service and ensuring high levels of stock integrity. Your main duties:Update the WMS stock figures based on stock counting results.Investigate discrepancies and provide reports based on count results.Implement the methods/processes as above.Carry out specific stock counts and quality audits when required. This may include working from height in a Scissor Lift/FLT Cage. To ensure all incoming and outgoing stock is accurately recorded on the WMS on a daily basis & to input and administer new orders within the WMS as required.Confirming all goods receipted to customers within 24 Hours.Undertake general administration duties & general warehouse duties as required for all current accounts.Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained, and to follow all company procedures in relation to health & safety. In addition ensure that a tidy and safe working environment is maintained.
