Accounts Assistant ApprenticeThe apprenticeship:Qualification: Accounts Assistant Level 2Duration: 15 monthsOur client is an esteemed accountancy firm based in London. They have been assisting businesses in succeeding for over 40 years. An opportunity has presented for an Accounts Apprentice to join their team. If you're passionate about getting your accountancy career off the ground, this opportunity is not to be missed! The Role:Possible start date: ASAPMonday to Friday - 0900 – 1730Total working hours: 37.5As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.Key Responsibilities: Process customer transactions Process supplier transactions Process receipts and payments Process transactions into ledgers Reconcile bank statements Use accounting software Use double-entry Prepare CIS returns File CIS returns Organise and send post to clients Allocate post into client system Scanning Answer phones Use spreadsheets Organise and allocate client records Respond to client queries on emails Send customer ledgers to colleagues RequirementsWhat We're Looking For: Communication skills IT skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Administrative skills Number skills Analytical skills Logical Team working Initiative Essential qualifications:GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4) essentialLet the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
