Senior Site Engineer Location: Co. Laois The Package: €70,000 - €80,000 + Vehicle/Expenses. The Project: €30m Government Building Refurbishment + Extension Overview: A leading Irish Main Contractor is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join their team for a landmark €30m government building refurbishment + extension project in Co. Laois. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take the next step in their career, working with a respected contractor on a significant public sector project which will no doubt enhance their own career. This project is still in early stages, which promises long term work in the area. Responsibilities: Oversee site engineering activities, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards.Manage quality control, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.Work closely with the Site and Project Managers to coordinate subcontractors and site activities.Assist in the mentoring and development of Junior Engineers. Requirements: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in site engineering in Ireland, ideally on large-scale public or commercial projects.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate with subcontractors effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect between €70,000 - €80,000 + Vehicle/Expenses.
