Position: Lead EngineerLocation: Manchester, UK (Remote)Duration: Long Term B2B ContractJob Description:ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES. a. Group change technical Response Coordinationb. Project BMG forecasting & releasing, Project B releasing, Project K releasingc. Bill of Material structuring & Maintenanced. Bill of material & CAD structure quality & auditingc. CAD structure structuring & maintenanceREQUIREMENTSMechanical Engineer with expertise in understanding the product development from concept to start of production. Strong understanding of the design aspects of engineering changes & release in the PLM, BoM and CAD structuring for systems & sub-system for various vehicle programs:• Experience in using BoM & CAD structuring application within a Product design environment within Volkswagen group companies• Hands on experience using Kanban dashboard and action on the requests raised through tickets, able to understand and execute the request initiated from vehicle engineering team.• Very good understanding of Agile methodology and it’s process• Must have strong knowledge in using VW group tools• Hands-on on ENVOCIA LCA, TI Syncro, Teamcenter with Active Workspace, CATIA V5 R32, Jira, TableauEXPERIENCE BAND5 to 10 years Automotive experience, with minimum 3 to 4 years of VW group company work experience on above toolsQualification and Education Requirement Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from reputed Institution / University RequirementsPosition: Lead EngineerLocation: Manchester, UK (Remote)Duration: Long Term B2B ContractJob Description:ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES. a.
