Come join the team as a Utility Surveyor in our growing business, along with exciting opportunities to work on some of the largest UK construction projects.With offices in the Midlands & South-East, we are continuously developing and expanding our team. Our Vision is to be the number one supplier of Engineering and Utility Services in the UK.Responsibilities Overseeing utility survey projects from inception to completion, guaranteeing that high standards are upheld by employing advanced surveying techniques and tools such as total stations, GPS, and Ground Penetrating Radar. Performing comprehensive inspections and accurately documenting underground utility assets as well as manhole inspection reports. Providing finalized utility survey reports to Project Managers and CAD Operators, in compliance with Vision Survey and industry standards. Establishing and nurturing robust client relationships to ensure successful project execution, conducting quality assessments on onsite data and facilitating a smooth transition to final deliverables. Maintaining and ensuring the operational readiness of all surveying equipment. Requirements Experience in utility surveying A solid comprehension of industry standards and practices, with familiarity in PAS128 and TSA being crucial Skilled in utilising surveying technologies such as ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic location systems Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for establishing relationships with clients and managing project teams Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while effectively managing workload priorities Willingness to travel to various job sites across the country as needed Holder of a valid manual UK driving license Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related discipline are preferred Benefits Competitive salaries (DOE) Staff benefits package including discounts at retailers and gym memberships Pension Scheme Health Insurance (Vitality) Life Insurance IT & Phone Package Social events throughout the year eg Annual General Meeting, Summer Event, and Christmas Event Continuous on-the-job training and development Vision Survey is an equal opportunities employer with the aim of providing a diverse and inclusive environment.
