As Senior Mechanical Engineer within the London office you’ll join a talented, experienced and supportive team of engineers that have a reputation for delivering technically challenging, innovative, and sustainability-led projects across a range of sectors and building types, from design through to construction within including existing facilities and major £100m+ new build developments. Responsibilities Act as Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Leader for mechanical and multi-disciplinary projects Establish client brief, technical requirements, scope of works, cost plans and agree deliverables, i.e., reports, specifications, and drawings scope. Design, coordinate and manage projects, liaising with internal and external teams throughout all design stages Produce engineering concept through to detailed design for a variety of technically challenging and innovative projects Ensure all design projects and reports are technically compliant and to a consistently high standard Promote technical excellence within the mechanical team, supporting junior engineers Requirements A recognised Mechanical or Building Services Engineering qualification to degree level Good knowledge and use of appropriate software including Bluebeam, Hevacomp, IES VE, Revit etc. Familiarity with RIBA design stages, from Stage 1 through to tender design Strong technical understanding of various mechanical building services systems Ideally 5 years’ experience in designing and managing projects within multi-disciplinary teams Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels across multiple disciplines, as well as clients Reward Basic salary up to £65,000 Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Annual bonus and company share scheme 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) with option to purchase additional Health insurance, private pension and employee assistance programme Ongoing CPD training courses and paid for industry memberships Weekly social and team building activities including quiz nights, dinners, sporting events etc. Career progression opportunities within an international business If you would like to be considered for the Senior Mechanical Engineer position or similar job opportunities, please contact info@rework-recruitment.com or APPLY NOW!
