Publisher Account ManagerThe Publisher Account Manager is an essential team player who will report to the Head of Publisher Services. They will be responsible for managing relationships with key existing publisher clients, promoting the range of Media services, and constantly identifying new revenue opportunities for the Publisher Brand team and their clients.This role requires someone who is proactive, hardworking, and confident, with the ability to prioritize effectively. The successful candidate will need self-motivation, drive, and determination to grow their area of responsibility and will thrive in a close-knit team environment. They must possess a proactive new business mentality, excel in working towards financial targets, and be skilled in managing multiple clients with differing budgets and day-to-day levels of account management.Key TasksActively promote the full range of Media services to publishers, including Copy Placement, Events (e.g., Brand to Hand), Digital, and Product Sampling.Manage existing and new accounts, ensuring prompt and effective communication in response to all queries—working closely with the account management, administration, and operations teams to ensure all requests are actioned.Identify opportunities within the publishing industry, the wider media sector, and other industries wherever potential exists.Actively promote the full range of services directly to clients and via subcontractors. This includes maintaining ongoing dialogue with UK and overseas agents.Present directly to magazine and newspaper publishers and follow up with tailored proposals that meet their distribution and marketing objectives.Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure effective team processes are maintained.Respond to initial inquiries into the company and/or business referrals.Assist the Head of Publisher Services in broadening the range of services offered to clients, ensuring group revenue targets are achieved.Represent the company at key industry events, such as PPA Festival, British Press Week, and Ace events.
