If youre confident with diagnostics, experienced under the bonnet, and not afraid to roll your sleeves up and take ownership of your work, this could be a great fit. About the role Youll be joining a garage that doesnt just swap partsit solves problems. Day to day, youll be working across a wide range of vehicles, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and inspections. This isnt a role where youll be boxed into one task or stuck repeating the same job. Instead, youll have variety, independence, and the chance to genuinely use your experience. Whether you're dealing with engine faults, brakes, suspension or more advanced diagnostics, your input will be valued and your judgement trusted. Working hours Monday to Friday8:30am to 5:30pm1 Saturday in 4 Key duties Carry out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and general maintenance on a range of vehiclesIdentify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and technical know-howKeep clear records of work carried out and parts usedMaintain a tidy and safe working environment Key requirements Experience working as a mechanic or vehicle technicianConfident diagnosing and repairing faults independentlyComfortable using diagnostic equipment and modern garage systemsFull UK driving licenceA strong work ethic and a genuine interest in doing the job well
