Job DescriptionCLOSING DATE 14 April 2025Working closing with the logistics coordinator and colleagues across site, the Stock Controller and Admin support will be responsible for:Receiving deliveries as they arrive to the business and being first point of contact for delivery drivers and visitors as they arrive to siteEnsuring stock received is, in a timely manner, checked for quantity and condition, placed in correct location and logged into the Business Central (BC) system to include expiry dates Organise stock efficiently in designated storage locationsIssue stock to operations team as required, making necessary adjustments to BC to reflect stock movementResponsible for weekly stock movements being recoded to BC and carrying out weekly stock level checks (system stock count checked to physical stock count). Report monthly stock movement record (system stock count checked to physical stock count) to Finance department at each month endMonitoring key stock levels and ensuring stock levels are consistently maintained. Liaising with Central Procurement based in Nottingham in relation to stock ordering. Ensuring year-end stock take is completed in a timely manner. Liaising with Central Financial Controller to support year-end audit visitRemove general rubbish, recyclables and Clinical waste from laboratories and ensure correct removal from site in line with business needs.Supporting Logistics Manager with courier relationships to include booking in of samples received, coordination of the reporting of these samples through to the return of these cases back to the customer (where applicable) within the Turn Around Times agreed.Due to the volume of applications this closing date may be brought forward, we apologise that we are unable to respond individually to each application.
