Vetro is actively seeking experienced Learning Disability Support Workers on behalf of a client based in Port Talbot, on a Temp to Perm contract. The client supports adults with complex needs and learning disabilities. You will be creating a safe environment to promote independence, encourage self-confidence, self esteem, and individuality throughout the service. You will be helping with their Progression through a care pathway to live as independently as possible. You will have the support of a team of multi-professionals. The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a Learning Disability Support Worker: A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with Learning Disabilities Empathetic, caring and resilient nature A minimum of 6 months experience of working within a social care setting in the UK Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one The right to work in the UK Vetro Recruitment acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
