Job DescriptionSmartkarma is seeking a senior analyst or analyst team to build ongoing research coverage of all US IPOs and direct listings with an expected deal size of [USD100mn or higher, excluding closed-end funds and SPACs].Research coverage will entail: Data-driven methodology to score and rank dealsPre-IPO company tearsheet Pre-IPO fundamental researchPre-IPO valuation and pricing insightsPost-IPO trading summaryPost-IPO lock-up expiry preview Within the first six months, the senior analyst or analyst team will also be expected to offer a high-touch service for select institutional clients covering:Pre-deal: Pre-positioningMarket intelligence/positioning/book colorManagement meeting questionsExcel modelsBespoke notes for pre-IPO/cornerstone stake (NDA-driven) Post-deal: Lock-up expiry tradesDesk access: Access to team via email/messagingDirect calls
