This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about working with young learners and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey.About the Role:As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to ensure all pupils, whether in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, receive the support they need to thrive. You will assist with classroom activities, support learning, and help promote a positive learning environment.Key Responsibilities: Assist in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum.Provide support for individual pupils or small groups, including those with additional needs.Encourage and develop pupils' confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning.Help maintain a structured and safe learning environment that supports positive behaviour.Prepare learning materials and assist with the organisation of classroom resources.Offer feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress and challenges.Support with playground duties, educational visits, and extra-curricular activities. Job Requirements: Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational or childcare setting is desirable.A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning.Knowledge of the primary national curriculum and child development stages.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the classroom.A recognised TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential.Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
