We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' facilities and equipment.Job Summary:We're looking for a talented and versatile Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on a wide range of plant, equipment, and building services. If you have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, electrical and mechanical competences, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:- Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving equipment performance- Conduct fault-finding on all types of machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems- Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes- Write and follow risk assessments and method statements, ensuring a safe and accurate working environment- Use mobile devices to accurately project and complete works from the CAFM maintenance system- Liaise with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues- Deputise for the shift leader during annual leave or sickness- Work overtime as required, including nights and weekendsRequirements:- Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering- Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance experience- Electrical competences to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition- Mechanical competences to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical- Good multi-skilled ability, with experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience- Ability to fault-find and diagnose PLC systems- NVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical- Ability to supervise contractors and write risk and method statementsDesirable:- Working at height qualification- IPAF certification- AP qualifications- Experience of heavy engineeringWhat We Offer:- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunity to work with a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services- Collaborative and dynamic work environment- Professional development and training opportunities- Recognition and reward for outstanding performanceHow to Apply:If you're a motivated and experienced Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your CV and a cover letter, to Holly.keenan@cbre.com .
