Job Title: English and Maths Tutor Location: England, Greater London, MertonSalary: £20 - £30 per hourResponsibilities: Provide personalised tutoring in English and Maths, either one-on-one or in small groups.Create customised lesson plans based on individual student's needs.Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student's progress.Utilise diverse teaching strategies to engage students and enhance learning. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualificationExperience in teaching English and MathsKnowledge of SEN education Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related fieldExperience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a similar roleKnowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of the English and Maths curriculumExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively work with students with SENPatience and empathy towards students Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in SEN educationExperience using assistive technology for teaching Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will need to travel to the student's location or provide online tutoring services.
