Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Facilities Management Director to lead and oversee the full spectrum of FM services across a national portfolio for our strategic client. This role is pivotal to the successful delivery of FM operations and plays a critical part in managing risk, ensuring performance, maintaining business continuity, and driving service excellence.While this is a national role with flexibility in location. Both the client and Colliers team are based. The successful candidate must be willing to travel across the UK to maintain service standards and manage escalations as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of the FM strategy and target operating modelEnsure consistent FM service delivery aligned to defined performance metrics and service levelsOversee site inspections, audits, and performance reviews to validate service complianceManage all outsourced service contracts, ensuring adherence to contractual frameworksLead supplier performance and relationship managementReview, improve, and approve operational processes to drive service qualityManage all service quality and escalation issues across the estateProvide governance and oversight of commercial claims, variations, and adjustmentsDrive cost and commercial management, ensuring alignment with fixed-price and semi-comprehensive modelsMaintain strong contract management practices in accordance with Master Service Agreements (MSAs)Deliver comprehensive management reporting and data insight across all aspects of FMLead glide path savings initiatives, driving continuous improvement and operational efficienciesEnsure supply chain continuity and resilience strategies are embeddedChampion business continuity and resilience planning across the FM portfolioIntegrate FM delivery with wider CRE strategic objectives to ensure cohesive execution
