Business Development Executive – £35,000 to £40,000 Basic + Bonus + Profit ShareRealistic OTE: £50,000+Location: Chichester (Primarily Office-Based)An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established and fast-growing contractor operating across the residential, commercial, and infrastructure landscaping sector. We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to play a key role in their sales growth strategy from their Chichester office.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building business relationships, spotting opportunities within construction projects, and playing a vital part in securing high-value contracts — often £250,000 and above.The company offers a collaborative and supportive office-based environment, with realistic earnings exceeding £50,000 thanks to a strong basic salary, performance-based bonus, and profit share scheme. Key Responsibilities: Proactively research and engage with key contacts across construction projects (site managers, QSs, commercial leads) Generate qualified leads and quoting opportunities through outbound calls and email outreach Build and nurture a pipeline of prospects across residential developments, commercial builds, and highway/infrastructure projects Book appointments for field-based Business Development Managers to convert and close Support the quoting and follow-up process, ensuring maximum conversion from enquiry to secured contract Keep accurate records using CRM systems and collaborate with the estimating team RequirementsIdeal Candidate: Confident, professional communicator – especially on the phone (training provided) Highly organised with an eye for detail and process Familiar with CRM tools and MS Office (Excel in particular) Motivated by targets and financial reward Background in construction-related industries or B2B lead generation advantageous BenefitsWhat’s on Offer: Competitive basic salary: £35,000 to £40,000 Bonus scheme for successful lead generation Company-wide profit share scheme Realistic OTE of £50,000+ Career progression and development opportunities Friendly and supportive team in a modern office setting This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with energy, ambition, and drive to join a forward-thinking company making a real impact in the construction sector.
