This forward-thinking practice in Shrewsbury is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team—and they’re ready to shape the role around your clinical interests.Whether your passion lies in first opinion work, referral cases, or a mix of both, this practice offers the flexibility to tailor your caseload. There’s also scope to accommodate consult-only vets or those wanting to focus purely on referral work.You'll be joining a fantastic team that includes highly experienced RVNs, many of whom hold or are pursuing further qualifications in anaesthesia, analgesia, surgical nursing, and more. The practice regularly sees referral cases in imaging, medicine, cardiology, and surgery, alongside a busy and varied first opinion caseload.The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a CT scanner, visiting MRI, a 2022 ultrasound machine, digital and dental radiography, endoscopy, tonometry, and a hydrotherapy suite. The in-house lab is fully equipped with biochemistry, haematology, clotting times, blood gas analysis, lactate monitoring, and an Imagyst unit offering rapid cytology and faecal analysis.Based in the historic market town of Shrewsbury, you’ll enjoy a vibrant local community surrounded by the stunning Shropshire countryside.
