We are seeking a Part-Time Senior Accountant to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Ramsgate. This is a varied general practice position which will offer valuable experience and exciting challenges. Our client is open to candidates looking to work 3 or 4 days a week. Our client is a well-established and market-leading firm of chartered accountants who provide a mixed accountancy service to a range of owner-managed business clients across Kent.In this role, you will:Plan, prepare, and review accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT for a variety of clientsPrepare personal tax returns and corporation tax returnsAssist clients with their accounting software, including Xero, Sage, and QuickBooksEnsure work is being undertaken in the most efficient mannerProvide ad hoc support to the partnersTrain and mentor trainees within the departmentHandle client queries in a positive and client-focused mannerRequirementsYou will be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified, part qualified, or qualified by experience.You will have 3-6 years experience within practice and have hands-on experience of preparing accounts and tax work for clients.Benefits£35,000 - £45,000 FTE dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
