Job Title: Nursery AssistantLocation: Wandsworth (SW4) Are you looking for flexible work as a Nursery Assistant?We are currently recruiting for competent and experienced Nursery Assistants to join our team to support with Short Term and Long-Term placements in local Nurseries in the Wandsworth area.Daily Duties will include:Support the nursery team to ensure effective and positive play opportunities are provided on a day to day basis.Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate planned and spontaneous activitiesHelping to create a warm, safe and inclusive environment.Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all timesMaintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment, including toys and educational materialsSupport children in their daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and personal hygieneEssential requirements for the Nursery Assistant – At least 1 years’ experience in a nursery roleGood knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Statutory frameworkExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to use your own initiativeFlexibility to adapt to changing situations and respond to children's needs promptlyYour passion to be shown in your day-to-day interaction with childrenDesirable requirements of the Nursery Assistant –Level 2/3 or above qualification in Early Years childcareAn enhanced DBS CheckSafeguarding and EYFS Training.Benefits from working with Starfyn Education –Competitive daily paySupport with the entire clearance processFREE training to support your career developmentDesignated consultants to support you with finding work, and preparing for interview/trial daysHelpful reminders to organise documents as they expire
