We are looking for a passionate, dynamic and committed Senior Residential Support Worker to head up our existing fantastic team of caring individuals who provide 24 hour specialist care and support to our young people.Our home based in Wigan, Greater Manchester can care for up to 2 young people aged 7-18 with emotional behavioural difficulties and Autism, the role will initially be to cover maternity leave and then you may have to move over to another one of our homes within a 5 mile radius this will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.We have created a warm and modern haven where the young people feel they are listened to and can express their feelings at all times. We require candidates who have experience in residential care and are ready to take the next step in their career and ideally be working towards their Level 3 qualification or equivalent and hold a full UK driving licence with business insurance. ***Please note no sponsorship will be available now or in the future.Working alongside the Registered and Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading from the front, organising the small team of staff ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to, all care plans are up to date and liaising with health officials regarding the young person's care.Shifts will be rota based and will include early, late and sleep shifts (up to 10 per month) rotas will be issued at least 4 weeks in advance to give you the perfect work/life balance and plenty of time off in between to feel refreshed and energised during shifts.Starting salary for the position is £37,392 up to £39,420 (dependant on experience) We offer a generous holiday allowance and regular pay reviews, company pension, free meals on shift and lots moreAs a progressive and growing provider of care there will also be the opportunity in the future to progress and expand with us, we offer fully funded qualifications and top class training to ensure you feel supported and can achieve everything you want to.
