You’ll take the lead on exciting new product initiatives, bringing concepts to life and ensuring successful market launches that stand out in the industry.To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: A strong passion for food innovation and a genuine interest in nutritionAt least 2/3 years of experience in food manufacturing or product developmentIn-depth knowledge of food science, nutrition, and regulatory requirementsExperience of working with external manufacturersStrong skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools (Excel and Sheets in particular)A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skillsA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related disciplineProven experience leading NPD projects from ideation to successful market launchStrong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams Within this position, you’ll also be: Conducting in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, consumer demands, and competitor activity, shaping product development strategiesCollaborating across departments, including marketing, procurement, production, and compliance, to ensure smooth product development and timely launchesDesigning and refining product formulations, balancing functionality, cost-effectiveness, and nutritional guidelinesManaging product testing processes, such as sensory evaluations, shelf-life assessments, and regulatory compliance checksEnsuring that all product specifications adhere to industry regulations and internal quality standardsLeading product trials, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to optimise production outcomesKeeping up to date with advancements in the industry, researching innovative ingredients and new technologiesIdentifying and resolving technical challenges throughout the development cycle to ensure seamless project execution Salary & Working HoursSalary is upto £45,000 per annumWorking hours Monday to FridayFree Onsite Parking33 days holiday incl Banks Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.Talk Staff Recruitment act as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.See our website for more details and jobs available -
