Job Title: Business Support Assistant Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (pro-rata) Hours: Part-Time | 3-4 Days Per week Type: Permanent Location: Sunderland, SR5 Start Date: ASAP Work Pattern: Part-Time | 3-4 Days Per Week Join a dynamic and supportive team environment where your administrative expertise will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the office and supporting internal business functions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to vital services by providing essential back-office support to both colleagues and management. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Answering incoming telephone calls with a professional and courteous mannerPerforming administrative tasks including scanning and creating/merging PDF documentsCreating, collating, and formatting documents for bids and tender submissionsManaging incoming and outgoing postSupporting the Office Manager with expenses and receiptsArranging travel and accommodation for staffSupporting staff with meeting minutes, reports, and agendasPreparing meeting rooms and managing refreshmentsSupporting health and safety protocols, including fire alarm testing and fire drills Qualifications and Experience:A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant administrative/business support roleProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPointStrong knowledge of office routines and ability to work with minimal supervisionCompetence in managing tracking systems for goods and servicesExcellent communication skills and the ability to handle information with discretion5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) including Maths and English or equivalent (desirable) If you require any additional information regarding the position, please call David at Service Care Solutions on 01772 208 966 or send an E-Mail to david.jones@servicecare.org.uk
